We offer creative business operators/SOHO business operators a subsidy for the cost of opening a new office in depopulated area in Tokushima.

[REQUIREMENT]
- Must be a business owner operating a creative business or SOHO business outside Tokushima.
- Must stay in depopulated area of Tokushima and continue to conduct current business for more than 5 years.
- Sole proprietors are required an average annual income or expected income of 6 million yen or more over the past 3 years.
- Must not receive other subsidies from Tokushima Prefecture.
- Regarding the new local employment incentive project, must hire more than 3 people in this area within 3 years of starting business. (Including those who are newly hired outside of Tokushima and then transfer resident’s card to move to the prefecture.)

Support for IT/telecommunication industry “Subsidy for inviting IT/telecommunication business”

We offer the best subsidy for the new local hiring to those who start the IT/telecommunication business in Tokushima.

[TARGET BUSINESS]
Call centers, data centers, solution centers, administrative centers, digital contents business, and cloud service business

[REQUIREMENT]
Must be a business operator who has decided to site the new enterprise facility in Tokushima, and hire more than 10 local workers (*) in a year from starting operation.
  • * A new enterprise in depopulated areas is allowed to include up to 5 regular workers who moved from another prefecture with resident’s cards.
  • * Cloud service enterprise is allowed to include transferred-worker(s) who moved from another prefecture with resident’s cards.

Job training costs of new local hire
- Outsourced training: 50% of total costs, maximum 100,000 yen per person
- Intra-company training: 50% of total costs, maximum 50,000 yen per person (Available for instructor’s traveling expenses from outside the prefecture, etc.)

* Granted period: 5 years
* Available for the training in Tokushima within 6 months of hiring.

Support project for town and village “FURUSATO Subsidy to promote establishment of creator/telework business facilities”

We offer a subsidy for depopulated towns and villages to remodel houses/old and unused school building for being used as satellite office of creators and SOHO business operators outside Tokushima.

[REQUIREMENT]
For depopulated town or village attracting creators and SOHO business operators under the prefectural governor’s approval.

- Cost for odeling or purchasing houses/old and unused school buildings to be rented as SOHO offices or telework centers. Excluding newly built rental facilities.

- Costs for preparing necessary equipment for business.
- Other costs necessary for attracting SOHO business operators.

SOHO business operators or creators must transfer resident’s cards, and keep operating the business.

Support for quake-resistance improvement work

We offer a subsidy for quake-resistance improvement of wooden houses and renovation work in order to reduce the damage caused by big earthquake.
*Construction works related to those who move from another prefecture are eligible for this subsidy for house renovation from 2012.

Subsidy for supporting safe houses and renovation
Recipients Requirement
Migrants from another prefecture(Including expected)
*Need a certificate of a mayor’s recognition as a measure to promote migration.
House Requirement
Wooden house which started to be built before May 31, 2000. Must be pointed under 1.0 by seismic diagnosis.
Construction Work Requirements
Must meet all of the following requirements
1. Contractor must be “the seismic wooden house builder” certificated by Tokushima Prefectural Governor.
2. Must do one or more of the following
- Must improve the seismic diagnosis point. (Owner-occupied house needs point more than point, rental house needs point more than 1.0)
- Must install a seismic shelter or a seismic bed in owner-occupied house.
- Construction work of those 2 of above approved by Prefectural Governor
